Cookin’ up a new show at Mudlark!

Explore the bitter and the sweet in this new indulgent play, where actors will explore their relationship to food as a source of creation, connection, and culture. Bring your family's dishes and ideas to the table as we write this play's recipe from scratch! Written and Directed by Mudlark's Artistic Producer, Rebecca Rose Schilsky.

Making audiences laugh with Second City!

Rebecca is proud to announce that she has been accepted into the Second City Directing Program! This March, Rebecca will be collaborating with artists to bring an original comedy show to you! The show runs Friday, March 3rd — Friday March 24th @10pm. She looks forward to seeing you there!

Playing Make/Believe!

This summer, you can find Rebecca back in the rehearsal room with Ghostlight Ensemble! Directing “Can You Hear the Mermaids Sing?”, she is thrilled to be working on another TYA show, and this year you can catch this show in person! “Can Can” you believe it? Rebecca is currently the Production Assistant for the Moulin Rouge Tour in Chicago! Heading Downtown to the Nederlander Theatre, Rebecca is helping this diamond sparkle on State Street!

Building Plays with Mudlark!

Rebecca is excited to be working as a Teaching Artist, Assistant Director, & Stage Manager for Mudlark Theater! with Mudlark, Rebecca is also supporting and teaching programs that educate and inspire students throughout the city & Chicago suburbs. This includes jumping into the Mystery Machine with the Scooby Doo Gang & Nancy Drew Crew for their Playlab program. Currently, Rebecca is working on the world premiere of her play Where the Sidewalk Continues with Mudlark Theatre. Learn more about this production on her directing page!
